About Me
Hello! My name is Tina!
I’m so glad you’re here and I hope we can partner together!
The Fun Stuff:
I am a Sag sun, Gemini moon, and cancer rising. For fun I enjoy hiking, kayaking, singing, and training my dog to use Fluent Pet buttons. My favorite video games are the Pokemon RPGs and I don’t enjoy country music.
My Credentials:
I completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Spanish at Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, VA. Immediately after graduation, I moved to Richmond, VA to attend the VCU School of Pharmacy. I graduated in 2015 with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree and started working for CVS Health, then moved to Kroger Pharmacy later in the year. While working full-time, I attended an ontological coach training program through Accomplishment Coaching in San Diego, CA.
My Current Identities:
I identify as: white and Filipino, bisexual, cisgender female, daughter, wife, fur mom, believer. I'm also changing and growing constantly, and reserve the right to change any of this information as I reach new levels of transformation.
If you only take away one thing from my site, I hope it's this: I am a coach who will hold space for your humanity and invite you to do the same for yourself.
How my coaching journey began
Being a community pharmacist for the past 8 years, I’ve witnessed and experienced getting lost in the healthcare system. As one of those patients, I started looking for something more when medications weren’t enough to treat my overwhelming anxiety and depression.
So, in 2017, I hired my first life coach. I was expecting her to tell me what to do to fix my life. Instead, I found a partnership where she challenged me to show up for myself regardless of life’s circumstances. In 2018, I was so passionate about coaching that I entered an ontological coach training program.
I graduated from the coach training program in September of 2019 and declared that I would quit my full-time pharmacist job within one year. Of course by September of 2020 we were in the thick of the COVID-19 Pandemic and I wasn’t willing to take a risk and be an entrepreneur. But, by February of 2022 I was experiencing extreme burnout and took a medical leave from my career to get more mental health support. I got diagnosed with ADHD and found both relief and more frustration. As I worked with a therapist and psychiatrist to fine-tune my medications, I knew I wouldn’t be going back to full-time pharmacy.
Now, I’m combining my experiences as a healthcare provider with my coach training to create a unique support structure for patients, caregivers, and their families. My vision is to empower my clients to continue building the life of their desires as they navigate new circumstances, especially relating to a medical diagnosis. I also enjoy working with women, like me, who want a change in their life and career and with anyone who identifies as neurodivergent!
